Hello & Welcome
Welcome to Shanadoa Home Health. I hope our services will benefit you and help you on your journey to a successful recovery. I know you have a choice when it comes to the home health you choose, and I want to thank you for choosing us. The mission of our agency is to provide outstanding care that makes your path to independence obtainable. Our goal is that your overall experience exceeds your expectation.
What to Expect
You will be receiving a call from the RN to schedule your admission visit. Please plan for this visit to last approximately 1-2 hours. At this visit, the nurse will meet with you to find out what services and resources you need in the home for a safe recovery. Please have the following things ready when they arrive.
- All prescription medications set out.
- All over-the-counter medications that you take on a regular basis.
- What do you take for a headache, a stomachache, allergies e.t.c.
- A list of all the doctors you see.
- The contact information for any equipment you have
During the initial visit, the admitting clinician will provide you with a written copy of your rights and responsibilities while receiving home health services.
Following this admission visit, you will receive regular visits from a nurse or therapist based on your needs. We offer Skilled Nursing, Physical Therapy, and Occupational Therapy. You may have one, two, or all three of these services depending on your needs.
All clinicians will call to make appointments the night before they plan to visit and will give an approximate time they will arrive. Due to driving from home to home, it is almost impossible to give exact times of arrival, so please expect an hour window to allow for patient or traffic issues.
Below is a list of frequently asked questions to help with any other questions, but please reach out anytime if we can do anything to ensure your success.
Thank you again for choosing Shanadoa Home Health.
